Tesla Model X - Completion Kit

I did it. I did the full matte ppf and the car looks amazing. I didn't have any experiences prior to this but the step by step videos make it fairly easy to follow along. Eric answered my questions in email within minutes every time. There are a few imperfections but no one would notice unless they really look for it.

For the longest time I've wanted a matte vehicle wrap but have found it cost-prohibitive. I was ecstatic to discover Drive Protected's matte kit. I was nervous at first but the videos made installation as easy and straight-forward as possible. As a DIY-er, this was a fun kit to install and watching the project unfold before you is impressive! Caution though, I had to set my perfectionist eye aside because every bubble drove me crazy...until I discovered how easy it is to eliminate bubbles after the install is complete. Needless to say, our Tesla looks striking and I've received so many compliments on it. The best was from a friend who asked which shop I went to for the install and how I got out of there for less than $10K. Thanks for an incredible experience from purchase, training academy, customer service answers, installation, and helping me get another kit for my other car too! You all truly define excellence and quality control and I will not hesitate to recommend you in the future!

I wanted to get Paint Protection Film on my Tesla to preserve its sleek look and innovative design. Protecting the paintwork seemed crucial for maintaining its aesthetic appeal and ensuring a good resale value.

My decision to apply the PPF myself was driven by several factors. I love the satisfaction of completing hands-on projects, the cost savings compared to professional installation, and the excitement of learning a new skill to apply to something I deeply care about.

When I took delivery of my 2022 Tesla Model X it needed service for the falcon wing door. Tesla provided me a used loaner Model X during that time. I was shocked to see how many rock chips that car had, the condition of that paint paint was really bad. I now knew for sure that I have to get PPF for my Model X thats when I came across Drive Protected videos on YouTube and it inspired me to give it a try, especially how much cheaper it would have costed me to do it myself.

I reached out to drive protected and told them about myself and they sent out a Full Front PPF for a review. Their install videos were very helpful but when I had questions they were there for me. The hardest part for me was the front bumper out of the entire install. I got my Model X and Y fully protected now. I also ended up purchasing a full PPF for our other Model Y and Full front for our Mercedes GLC.
