Very easy to install
Very happy with this DIY PPF. Installation is not perfect as I expected but turns out very nice. Will buy again for my R2 when it will be available in Canada!
The kit was great. Still in the middle of installation but I am so far satisfied with the product and the packaging was great too. Well packaged and the quality is great as well.
Ps. The training videos make is possible for us people that have not done anythign like this. The videos are amazingly great and tell you step by step. Very detailed.
The product itself is excellent. I have no issues with the product or video instruction. The issue is the product is a lot harder to put on for somebody with no experience. I think it is a little oversold as a DIY product. I am a blue collar worker that builds residential homes and can do pretty much anything, it is very difficult to get all the air bubbles out from under the film. I have only done the hood and I am regretting buying the full car kit. I had good success with the practice pieces they are a lot smaller and easier to manage. At this point I have to think of it as protection not perfection. I would recommend if anyone is serious about paint protection film to spend the money and have it professionally done unless you are willing to have a lot of blemishes . At least that's my opinion.
I bought a new model y performance and wanted to have a full ppf installed. The cost was prohibitive. I found drive protected, a Canadian company, and the reviews were excellent. I decided to give it a try!
The installation took a long time as I was alone for most part. The videos show very well how to install each part. The front bumper and rear bumper were the most complex to me. The result is not perfect, but very good.
I exchanged a few emails with questions a and they promptly reply.
The next car will be easier and the result will be better!
Just wanted to add the video of my whole ppf installation, very easy, took me 5 half days but trust me i am a total beginner, never applied any ppf in my whole life
Great Wrapping Experience, Fully supportive staff, and great quality producct, I did it in P4 level, great cut in ppfs
As a 1st timer, the film was much easier than anticipated to work with, precuts are quite precise so no real fitment issues, also the included squeegie is real nice.
But the amount of labor is INTENSE, probably took me more than 30hrs working alone from start to finish. Just endless loops of spraying, lining up, squeegeeing and repeating. Would recommend grabbing a few helpful buddies if possible, would make the job much less taxing.
Installed full matte on my new 2026 Model 3. Wife and I worked on it in the evening the week after picking up the car. We live in a condo and did it in a commercial parkade which worked just as well. The academy videos were very helpful in figuring out what to do and I would definitely recommend it to others who are thinking about doing it themselves. Very happy with the outcome and glad to have a more unique Tesla Model 3 so I can easily spot it in parking lots!
Reading and watching youtube I was worried about this application. Im not sure if this is due to the difference between cheaper products, but this ceramic applied easy and buffed out nice. Didnt have any buildup… just worked 🤷♂️
My first PPF install. You can do it! Watch the academy videos… definitely ask for a second pair of hands, but it is doable. Back rolling is the hardest part if you follow directions and take the time to watch the videos. 2026 Telsa M3P 😎🦾
Great as always. Wish the full front end included the light bar, headlights, full A pillar, and the black piece on the front bumper of the Performance models.
Aloha, I just recently installed the full Drive Protected glossy PPF kit on my Juniper & couldn’t be any more happier with the outcome. This was my first time working with PPF and I’m glad I attempted to give it a try. All you need is Time & patiences. Quality of the film & service Drive Protected provides is top notch. Watching their installation videos helped a lot. Would highly recommend them if you want to protect your vehicle.
Would recommend ceramic coating the PPF as well. Keeps maintenance a breeze. In Hawaii we have really bipolar weather, one part of the island could be really sunny and the other part could be down pouring rain. With a black car, water/dirt dried up doesn’t look good. All I need to do is use a quick ceramic detailer & my juniper is glossy again. They definitely have a repeat customer in the near future if decide to get another Tesla!
Great product and customer service. I ordered the full matte ppf and watched their online videos that teach you how to apply to each section of your vehicle. The videos were super helpful during install. I did have to order one section again as I didnt like the way it looked after install (was totally on me and not the ppf itself). Drive protected was very responsive and quickly shipped me the remaining section I needed. Great overall experience!

All around great experience would recommend. The film is easier to work with than I expected. Videos help a lot to understand the starting areas and how to properly install.

I did it. I did the full matte ppf and the car looks amazing. I didn't have any experiences prior to this but the step by step videos make it fairly easy to follow along. Eric answered my questions in email within minutes every time. There are a few imperfections but no one would notice unless they really look for it.

I couldn't be happier with how my wrap turned out! The training academy started me off with confidence and we're flawless in detail. Definitely begin with the hood to build up confidence.
The front and rear bumbers are the trickiest. So take your time and make sure you have someone helping! All other panels you can knock out on your own however. Any frustrations you may have are easily overlooked by the money you're saving. I did mess up the bumpers the first time, but they sent me replacement pieces with zero hassle. Amazing customer service!
Full body install took me a weekend. Total hours were around 20 but I took my time. I love the wrap and it looks amazing. Like that my Stealth Gray doesn't look like everyone else's now that it's matte. I'll 100% purchase another wrap in the future.
Great product. Doing it yourself for the first time can seem challenging but the academy videos are very helpful and the support is great. I ran into an issue installing the first panel and was able to get help over FaceTime right away. Would recommend to anyone wanting protection at a fraction of the cost.
